Sunset in Indochina

“The 15th of August is a special day for me, I hope for you too. Today I release one of my long awaited fragrances, some of you already had the opportunity to test it last month during Oud Ibento in Germany.

Now I’m back to “my style of blending in JS”, as you already know the traditional side of blending is not really my cup of tea, but because you guys like it, I do it anyways (and here we talk about Assam/Kerala).

My next releases which will come out in the near future will be definitely my style! The 15th of August is my birthday and I waited for this day to release this beautiful composition, a very complex fragrance witch reveals the beauty of Indochina archipelago….you may have already guessed it by now, I’m talking of Sunset in Indochina!

What is all about? So, first I carefully chose some new gen ouds from this such as Laos Oud, Cambodian Oud, Malinau Oud and a big portion of Malay rostrata oud oil. On top of that I used a special, red, carefully selected frangipani absolute which gives a crazy complex and juicy aspect to this blend. I also added an amazing ambergris found in Indonesia along an amazing patchouli distilled with a CO2 setup. To pump it even more, I used a bit of pink lotus absolute, benzoin resinoid, and pomelo folded 3 times to cancel the terpens top notes and tincture of jackfruit!
