Atmosphere:
Retracing the genealogy of plants back into the Cretaceous Era 130 million years ago, which saw one of the highest biodiversity of dinosaurs as well as one of the greatest extinctions in the history of earth. In this prehistoric age, when the invention of petal flowers was in its infancy, the Acacia tree already set its lineage. Its bright yellow puffy flowers generously spread their fragrant pollen into the rich atmosphere, dancing in the air under the warm exhalation of the volcanoes and the limestone dust distinctive to this Era, in such abundance that fossils of these life capsules brought their testimony to us. Imagining the perilous journey of a tiny pollen into the dinosaurs world, their gigantic lungs filled with primeval air, plants first legacy of oxygen and perfumes, their breath blowing far and away into new territories to colonize. From the earlier Cretaceous period to its end, from the abundance to the devastation of the accomplishment of an era, an air filled with the sweet, delicate and naive fragrance of Cassie ancestors learning their alchemy, trees adapting to the growing aridity, dry wood cracking and bending under the sun loosing their bark to the soil, the winds and the crush from the dinosaurs footsteps. And in the middle, an Aquilaria tree holds its grounds, as paleonthology attests, already giving its kiss of death to the fungi that causes the bewitched blood named Oud. And through the courage, the pain and above all the incommensurable thrive to live, a legacy of children still hides today in the wild of secret forests alcoves maybe till the next extinction.

A warm beating heart of a palette of Vetiver and Oud mirroring each other in an infinite resonance, from the sweetest, honey and ambery notes, to the old and cracking wood reaching its end journey into a faint smoky state before starting the circle of life again with the revigorating young twigs and gourmand citrus fruit essence of the Lime Petitgrain. Throughout, a subtle Cassie scent, with spicy hints of cinnamon a floral mellowness in conjunction with a brisk powdered air quality floats like an aura.
